From 1976 to 2008 he worked for Halliburton in various positions in cementing, tools/ testing, offshore cementing, sales, special projects in the oil, gas, and geothermal fields throughout the western states, Canada, Mexico, and Hawaii. He continued his carrier as a cofounder of Thermasource Cementing servicing primarily geothermal operation in the western states. Throughout his carrier Bob has aided customers by helping to reduce their cementing cost by providing new, innovative, economical products, services and technologies. He is a cofounder and part of the elite group of renown industry professionals that make up Resource Cementing.

hamid najafiOperations Manager/Technology

Mr. Najafi brings 15 years of experience in oil, gas, and geothermal industry. He started his career with Halliburton as a cementing engineer to provide fluid design, field technical support, temperature simulations, pumping job simulations, and field data acquisition. Following Halliburton, he joined three others in startup effort to build a new oilfield cementing company. There he was very instrumental in building and setting up of cement laboratory, research and development of cementing chemicals to be used in the harsh geothermal environment and designing and manufacturing of the foam cement technology. Mr. Najafi earned a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from California Poly Technic at Pomona, California.

MARC BRENNENBusiness Development Manager

Marc has held Account Representative and Technical Sales Positions with major energy cementing companies since 1981. During his career with BJ Services, Mr. Brennen co-authored a SPE paper on developing a unique lab apparatus to predict gas migration potential in cement slurries. When Marc joined Halliburton, his work focused on natural gas and geothermal cementing applications on the West Coast, Nevada Basin and Range and Hawaii. During that time, Mr. Brennen was honored to part of a select team with Stanford University and USGS to drill and cement a scientific observatory well that was placed deep in the San Andreas fault to measure seismic activity.

In 2008, Mr. Brennen helped form the start up of ThermaSource Cementing as Senior Director, Business Development. Special cementing projects beyond geothermal included natural gas storage wells, salt dome cavity storage wells, coal bed methane wells, underground pipeline seals and assisting with constructing freeze walls for the gold mining industry. Prior to his career in the oil, gas and geothermal industry, Marc worked for a geotechnical company with applications in engineering geology, foundation engineering, soil and concrete testing. Mr. Brennen received a B.A. in geology from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Bringing his experience with high pressure pumping services, technical cementing and business development, Mr. Brennen became part of the team at Paul Graham Drilling and Services/ Resource Cementing Companies in 2015.

ALEXANDER MORRISSOperations Manager/ Engineer

Alex began his career in the geothermal, oil, and gas cementing industry in 2006 working as a Field Engineer for Halliburton in Northern California. Excelling at cement job design, data analysis, field supervision, and customer interaction allowed him to quickly transition into a Sales and Business Development job role in 2008. As an Account Representative he was responsible for all customer projects in Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii.
