Marc has held Account Representative and Technical Sales Positions with major energy cementing companies since 1981. During his career with BJ Services, Mr. Brennen co-authored a SPE paper on developing a unique lab apparatus to predict gas migration potential in cement slurries. When Marc joined Halliburton, his work focused on natural gas and geothermal cementing applications on the West Coast, Nevada Basin and Range and Hawaii. During that time, Mr. Brennen was honored to part of a select team with Stanford University and USGS to drill and cement a scientific observatory well that was placed deep in the San Andreas fault to measure seismic activity.
In 2008, Mr. Brennen helped form the start up of ThermaSource Cementing as Senior Director, Business Development. Special cementing projects beyond geothermal included natural gas storage wells, salt dome cavity storage wells, coal bed methane wells, underground pipeline seals and assisting with constructing freeze walls for the gold mining industry. Prior to his career in the oil, gas and geothermal industry, Marc worked for a geotechnical company with applications in engineering geology, foundation engineering, soil and concrete testing. Mr. Brennen received a B.A. in geology from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Bringing his experience with high pressure pumping services, technical cementing and business development, Mr. Brennen became part of the team at Paul Graham Drilling and Services/ Resource Cementing Companies in 2015.
